Good Thinking
I have a bit of a thing against newsletters. It’s a personal thing which I’ve been harbouring for many years and now I can’t walk down a street without seeing the word ’news’;and hearing the word ’letters’;and constructing a demonic vision in my mind. It’s really not my fault. It’s the fault of our local village newsletter, the high-light of which is the ‘births, marriages and deaths’ page which is printed in a font that exhibits a truly deathly quality and can only be found on Word ’91 or earlier. Worse than that, all the marriages, deaths and births are jumbled up, meaning the photographs of brides sometimes end up in less than appropriate places. For that reason, I was skeptical about the Enigin Newsletter. Although I needn’t have been. From the looks of it, if Enigin were in charge of our local newsletter then it would be the best newsletter the world has ever seen.
The Enigin newsletter, if I am not mistaken, does much more than just inform potential customers of the company’s new products. It also contains numerous energy-saving advice for the individual and for the business—small or large—and does so in an aesthetically pleasing fashion which appeals to both men and women. So it’s a feat of design, you could say. I mean, imagine what our local council could do if they copped a load of this! Our newsletter may even become readable for once and the brides might not flip out at their Best Day being ruined forever.
